The pallet conveying system connects the hot rolling mill with the hot-rolled coil storage area. The coiler car of the rolling mill takes the coil from the reel and places it on a deposit. Here it is secured with two straps for further transport and then transferred onto the pallet conveyor. On its way to the warehouse, the coil passes through an inspection stand as well as strapping and marking systems. Turning and lifting stations are integrated into the line in order to change the direction of transport as required and to cross under travel paths through tunnels. A further pallet conveyor for returning the empty pallets runs parallel to the transport section.
