As part of a comprehensive modernization project, AMOVA supplied a newly developed inspection line with two shears, a pinch-roll and levelling unit, a roller table and a strip turning device, with the aid of which the coils are unwound, cut, inspected on both sides and then cut into smaller lengths. The inspection line is designed for testing strips up to 6 meters long with a maximum thickness of 12.7 mm and a nominal tensile strength of up to 1,000 N/mm²; with strip thicknesses of max. 8.5 mm even a nominal tensile strength of up to 1300 N/mm² is possible.
