Safe and gentle handling, highest standards of packaging

A coil manipulator automatically places the coils on shipping pallets with the axis either in horizontal or vertical position. These packages are then wrapped in foil for shipment, strapped, weighed and provided with a shipping label. An essential feature of the system is that, during the entire transport and when they are placed on the pallet, the extremely shock-sensitive litho coils are only handled in the coil eye and not on the circumference in order to avoid damage. Once they rest safely on the pallet, the subsequent packaging process runs automatically without the coils being moved again.
