The coil transport system essentially consists of a pallet-transfer roller conveyor and stationary pallet roller conveyors for connecting the hot rolling mill to a high-bay warehouse. The special feature is that the coiler car of the hot strip mill removes the coil with a pallet from the reel and places it directly on the transfer roller table, which AMOVA has equipped with a special frame construction. This configuration has immense advantages: considerably less foundation work is required, thus saving the customer considerable costs.
