We are excited about a highly interesting new order from Herkules! For the most modern roll shop project in India at ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India Ltd. (AM/NS India), Herkules has awarded AMOVA the contract to supply a fully automated high-bay warehouse for work rolls and intermediate rolls to be ground. The warehouse will be designed for 200 rolls with different dimensions and individual weights of up to six tons. The scope of supply includes the rack structure, one stacker crane for storing and retrieving the rolls, aisle equipment, four roll-transfer cars, relevant safety equipment and the complete automation.
The direct transfer of the rolls from the cars to the Herkules Autoloaders ensures a fully automatic, safe and gentle transport of the rolls between the warehouse and the grinding machines. AMOVA will support the installation of equipment with experienced site supervisors and will carry out commissioning with its own specialists. Likewise, we will provide routine maintenance of the plant during the 24-month warranty period
