Daniel Opitz is involved as a junior project manager in both the sales and the order handling processes.

How did your career at AMOVA develop?

After finishing my commercial apprenticeship as an industrial business assistant in 2015, I was offered a position in the "Commercial Sales and Order Processing" department. Step by step I was entrusted with more responsibility and given the opportunity to develop from a clerk to a commercial junior project manager within a short period of time. Currently I am also completing a bachelor's degree in business administration alongside my job in which AMOVA is supporting me.

Can you give us a brief insight into your tasks?

I am responsible for all commercial matters within my projects. This means that I manage the processes from the first negotiations through the acceptance of the plant up to the end of the warranty period. I prepare the terms and conditions of quotations and negotiate contracts and prices with our customers. Finally, after the conclusion of the project contract, I am responsible for handling the commercial issues.

The range of tasks is very varied and every day looks different. This makes my job very interesting and varied, which I really appreciate. From time to time I am on business trips around the world, but spend most of my time in the company. For me personally this is a good balance and it makes my job exciting. Especially when working abroad, I can gain a lot of new experience. You get to know new cultures and foreign work methods, which broadens your horizons.
